Chinamine USA is a vertical garment manufacturing company. Their New York showroom has an ever-changing collection of products with an in-depth design resource center. Chinamine USA is known for working closely with its client’s product development and design teams. Some customers of their corporation include Cami NYC, Frame, Ulla Johnson, Theory, Terez, Marc Jacobs, Alexis, Draper James, Tibi, Alex Mill, Apparis, Kate Spade, Coach, Cuyana, Baggu, and many others. Their Chinasilk factories produce garments in a wide spectrum of categories and fabrics from very dressy to casual sportswear and accessories. Chinasilk’s garment, print, dye, and wash facilities are located throughout China and Vietnam.

Projects:
I worked alongside another intern and the Chinamine team to conduct trend research and source fabrics for the Draper James Fall 2023 line to align with their brand, budget, and goals. Research was conducted on past lines, upcoming trends, and fabric budgets were kept in mind.
Finally, I assisted in boosting Chinamine’s social media page, by successfully gaining engagement through Instagram stories, specifically new must-have fabrics. Additionally, I created posts that aligned with their aesthetic to promote the extensive products they have produced with different brands.
I set up a visual showcase for a meeting with a potential client. The goal was to highlight the past products produced for Baggu by Chinamine.
